General Disclaimer

SayWhat? is a product of Otion LLC. It is designed to help people understand the language of legal documents — like leases, employment agreements, insurance policies, terms of service, NDAs, and loan documents — by providing section-by-section plain-English translations. SayWhat? does not provide legal advice, does not flag risks, and does not recommend a course of action. It does not guarantee that a translation is complete, accurate, or free of error. Always review the original document and consult a qualified attorney before signing anything or taking action. SayWhat? is not affiliated with any law firm or government agency.

On-Device Processing

SayWhat? translates your documents entirely in your browser. The content of your documents never leaves your device — we do not upload, store, or transmit it, and no AI company sees it either. Only metadata (such as file name, document type, and word count) is saved to your account. This means your document content lives on the device and browser where you translated it, and isn't available on other devices unless you translate it again there. Clearing your browser storage also clears your locally stored translation results.

Translation Accuracy

SayWhat?'s translations are generated by AI running in your browser and are for informational purposes only. Translations may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations — especially for complex, technical, or unusually worded legal language. Legal documents carry real consequences. Do not rely on a translation alone; read the original text and get professional advice before making decisions based on what you read.

Not Legal Advice

SayWhat? is not a law firm, and nothing it produces is legal advice. Only a licensed attorney licensed in your jurisdiction can give legal advice. If you are considering signing a contract, are in a dispute, or need to understand your legal rights, consult a qualified professional.
